Savior of Blind Victim Punished

HUNTINGTON BEACH – 17 year old Cody Pines is being hailed as a hero for coming to the aid of a blind classmate who was getting beaten up at school.

“You trying to jump a f—— blind kid, bro?” Pines asks, leaning over the teen who was throwing punches.  “What the f— is your problem?”

The school has suspended hero Pines citing their zero tolerance towards violence.

It is difficult to watch until Pines intervenes. The fact that the bully was laughing while attacking a blind classmate or other kids watching and filming with their phones instead of putting an end to the violence.

The wholesale application of “zero tolerance of violence” is a good idea when in a world that does not exist. Its a great idea and an unrealistic one. Cody Pines should be given a key to the city, a hero’s welcome and instead he is forced to defend his honor.
