Pasco Fire Rescue responded to a fire at 8350 Cessna Drive in New Port Richey early Monday morning. The house is in Hidden Lakes, which is a gated airport community.
Crews received the call for the two-alarm fire at 2:12 a.m. The Pasco Fire Department says crews will be out most of the morning.
The house is 20 feet from a hangar, which is detached from the house. Fire Rescue was able to keep the flames from spreading to the house but the hangar is a total loss. Two planes and two cars were inside.
The fire has been extinguished.
Home owners and pets were safely evacuated from the home as a precaution. No injuries were reported.
The fire does not appear suspicious.
