A bomb squad found an inert hand grenade under a bridge on a Valrico road.
The harmless device was discovered in the canal that runs under Bell Shoals Road just north of Fish Hawk Boulevard.
Those two roads were closed while the bomb squad dealt with the device.
Those roads are now back open.
