The Tampa Theatre will host 15 nights of gory horror classics, family favorites, live ghost stories and paranormal investigations this Halloween season.
The historic theater’s Nightmare On Franklin Street event series features a spooky new theme every day from Oct. 17 to 31, with movies related to those themes, such as ghosts, aliens, zombies and Hitchcock.
Some of the movies on tap include “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” (Oct. 28), “Ghostbusters” (Oct. 26), “Paranorman” (Oct. 27) and a Halloween-night screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” with a live, pre-movie performance.
