Guilty is the verdict for the man accused of murdering a Tampa doctor and his wife.
Jurors deliberated for four hours before convicting Julian Ospina-Florez in the shooting deaths of Debra and Hector Rivera at their home in 2012.
The jury will now recommend whether Ospina-Florez should get the death penalty.
Ospina-Florez, who was a personal assistant to Mrs. Rivera, claimed an unknown man tied him up and killed the Riveras.
But the gun used in the slayings was tied to Ospina-Florez, and a box of ammunition for that type of gun was found in his car, minus the number of bullets used to shoot the victims.
