Gary Allan Replaces DNCE In Florida Strawberry Festival

PLANT CITY, Fla. (Jan. 16, 2018) – The Florida Strawberry Festival announced today that Gary Allan will replace DNCE in the 11-day event’s opening night show.

The country outlaw will perform on opening night, Thursday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m. on the Wish Farms Soundstage, helping usher in the event’s newly constructed GT Grandstands concert seating. Tickets for the show can be purchased for $30 each beginning Wednesday, January 17 at 9 a.m.

“Gary Allan is a great fit for our festival,” said Florida Strawberry Festival President Paul Davis. “He has a long-standing career in country music and a very distinct voice that is really brought to life in his live shows.”

Allan is best known for his No. 1 singles “Man to Man,” “Tough Little Boys,” “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)” and “Nothin’ On But The Radio.”

Over 24 headline entertainment artists perform every year on the Wish Farms Soundstage and comprise one of the most popular attractions at the event, said Davis.

Concert tickets as well as advance tickets for admission can be purchased online at www.flstrawberryfestival.com, at the Amscot Main Ticket Office located at 2209 W. Oak Avenue in Plant City and over the phone at 813-754-1996. Free seating for headline concerts is no longer available.

“We are disappointed that DNCE had a scheduling conflict,” said Davis. “But Gary Allan really knows how to entertain and will usher in opening night of our festival with a rockin’ show.”
