G-20 Summit May Involve Talk Of Syria

Obama_G20_2013ST. PETERSBURG, Russia (AP) — The G-20 summit is to focus on the global economy, but U.S. officials are resigned to Syria overwhelming much of the discussion. President Barack Obama is meeting on the summit’s sidelines with the leaders of France, China and Japan. A Chinese finance ministry official warns that an international military strike targeting Syria for the Assad government’s alleged chemical attack would have a negative impact on the global economy, sending oil prices higher and dampening growth.
