Update: The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office says the schools are now off lockdown after an hour. Investigators concluded the threat was a hoax. The schools have resumed regular scheduled duties. The Tampa Police Department and school security were both called out to the school.

A full lockdown is in effect at Freedom High School and Liberty Middle School due to a bomb threat, according to school officials.
According to school officials, the threat was directed at Freedom High School but both school were put on lockdown as they are on the same campus.
The Tampa Police Department has not found any credit to the threat but they continue to investigate.
