Rick Scott, Charlie Crist Bringing Out Big Names In Final Days

The Tampa Tribune reports that Republican Gov. Rick Scott and Republican-turned-Democrat former Gov. Charlie Crist are bringing in big names to help them out as the Florida governor’s race nears an end. Both candidates will began today visiting churches, Scott in Miami-Dade County and Crist in Palm Beach County.

Then Vice President Joe Biden will join Charlie Crist for events in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, while former Gov. Jeb Bush campaigns with Rick Scott. Combined, about $100 million has already been spent on the race that is still too close to call.

Each candidate is hoping to energize their base by bringing popular figures from their party. Today is particularly important to the election because it is the last day of early voting.
