High Speed Rail From Miami To Orlando By 2017

 

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ All Aboard Florida has a new name for its passenger rail service connecting South Florida with central Florida.

All Aboard Florida officials said Monday that the express train service would be called Brightline.

Officials say the trains will have five distinct colors: red, orange, green, blue and pink.

They also will have yellow locomotives.

The Brightline service will connect Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando.

The first phase of the train services starts in 2017 in South Florida.
