Former Bucs Cheerleader Now On The ‘Voice’

A former Tampa Bay Buccaneers cheerleader sang Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful” on NBC’s “The Voice” Monday and turned two of the judge’s chairs.

Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine both were impressed by 54-year-old Donna Allen, who said she was finally pursuing her delayed dream of having a singing career.

The Hollywood, Fla., resident, who previously performed with Gloria Estefan as part of the Miami Sound Machine, said her solo career was postponed when she had her son.

Aguilera turned her chair within seconds of the R&B singer’s first notes and Levine quickly followed. The two judges, who in previous seasons had a somewhat acrimonious relationship, respectfully vied to be her coach.

“It’s like the heavens opened up,” Aguilera said of Allen’s voice.
