Forecasters Keep Wary Eye On Disturbance

National Hurricane Center forecasters are keeping an eye on a tropical disturbance in the central Atlantic Ocean.

They say it has a 50-50 chance of becoming a tropical depression by mid-week.

Right now, the wave is moving west-northwest at 15 miles an hour.

If it becomes a tropical storm, it would named Danny, the fourth named storm of the 2015 season.

The Hurricane Center is predicting a far below average year for tropical storm activity in the Atlantic Ocean thanks to the El Nino phenomenon, which undermines the ability to create strong storms.
