Valrico Woman Throws Brick at Speeding Vehicle

Authorities say a 35-year-old Valrico woman confronted a car speeding down her street Saturday night while children were outside — with a brick.

Angela Jill Cohen punctuated a verbal argument, an arrest affidavit states, by throwing the brick into the car’s windshield.

No one was injured in the incident on Dixie Maid Lane, off E Lumsden Road, according to the affidavit.

Cohen was arrested and charged with throwing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle. She was being held Sunday in the Hillsborough County Jail on $7,500 bail.

Jail records list Cohen as an employee at Brandon Eye Associates. In 1996, records show, she was arrested in Valrico on a robbery charge.
