Tropical Storm Dorian Forms In Atlantic

The National Hurricane Center upgraded a tropical depression off the Leeward Islands to Tropical Storm Dorian, the fourth named storm of this year’s hurricane season.

The tropical storm continues moving west-northwest at about 20 miles per hour with maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour.

Dorian’s west-northwest path is expected to continue over the next several days. Center forecasters predict some slight strengthening today.
