HOLIDAY, Fla. (AP) _ Police say five Pasco County teens face multiple charges in an attack on their neighbors over a home-grown marijuana plant.
According to police, three boys and two girls broke into a Holiday home Friday evening and dragged a woman out of the home.
When a man ran out to help her, police say they beat him with a baseball bat and metal pipe.
Pasco Sheriff’s spokesman Doug Tobin says the teens believed the man had stolen their pot plant.
The Tampa Bay Times (http://bit.ly/VUKGCQ ) reports the man suffered severe damage to his face, including possible fractures.
The teens, ages 15 to 17, are charged with aggravated burglary with a deadly weapon and attempted burglary.
The Times reports police did not find the marijuana plant.
