Sox the Dog Gets New Home

Sox the dog has a new home.

The 9 month old terrier/poodle mix was found late last year with a rubber band around his snout, unable to eat, the rubber band cutting into his snout.

The children who owned the dog told a teacher about Sox, and she called the SPCA.

Vets didn’t know if he would ever fully recover or what nerves might have been irreparably damaged, but less than two months later he is doing well, happy and now has a new family.

Lori Chambers read of Sox’s abuse, decided he needed a good home….her’s.

So she filled out the adoption papers, made calls to the SPCA and on February 9th, got the call that made her Sox’s new owner – coincidentally, the same day Sox’s former owner was charged with animal cruelty – Tieesha Cogdell’s arraignment is set for Monday.
