The Regions Bank Building in downtown Tampa is being evacuated while firefighters battle a car fire in the garage of the Ashley Drive building.

People are heading back into the Regions Bank Building as of 4:20 p.m. Tampa Fire Rescue Captain Lonnie Benniefied says they were evacuated as a precaution after a car caught fire this afternoon in the building’s parking garage. There was never any danger to the building itself. No word what sparked the car fire. No one was injured.
