MIAMI (AP) _ Authorities say a driver hit a pedestrian and dragged the body 106-feet from the point of impact.
Miami Police said witnesses saw a black Honda Accord speeding through an intersection Saturday morning.
The car hit the pedestrian, causing the victim to wrap around the windshield and eventually roll off the vehicle nearly 106-feet from impact.
The victim has not been identified.
An hour later, a detective spotted an individual acting suspiciously inside what he believed to be a stolen car.
The vehicle had extensive damage to the windshield and was full of blood.
Authorities said that person faces charges of failing to submit to a sobriety test and tampering with evidence. Detectives did not release their identity.
