LARGO, Fla. (AP) — A mosquito control worker was found face-down in a Florida creek where he had been sent to conduct tests.
The Tampa Bay Times reports a park ranger found the body of 63-year-old Rafael Lorenzo Ufret Ortiz on Monday.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s officials said the death isn’t believed to be suspicious but the cause of his death is not known.
Officials say Ortiz was a spray technician and was last seen Monday morning heading to the creek.
