VALRICO — A man was arrested and charged with first-degree arson after authorities responded to a Valrico mobile home fire and discovered a body early Monday.
Just after midnight Monday, deputies were dispatched to the Oakhill Village Mobile Home Park to investigate a report of a mentally ill man walking around with a hammer and asking to be taken to a mental health center.
Deputies arrived and found a trailer on the 100 block of Oakhill View Drive on fire. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire and and discovered a man’s body inside the trailer.
