Info Emerges about 2nd Woman in Petraeus Case

WASHINGTON (AP) _ The woman who received emails that led to the FBI’s discovery of CIA Director David Petraeus’ extramarital affair has been identified as 37-year-old Jill Kelley of Tampa, Fla.

A senior U.S. military official identified Kelley, who serves as an unpaid social liaison to MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, where the military’s Central Command and Special Operations Command are located.

The military official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to publicly discuss the investigation.

He says Kelley received harassing emails from Petraeus biographer Paula Broadwell, which led the FBI to examine her email account.

They eventually discovered Broadwell’s relationship with Petraeus, who resigned Friday from the CIA.

Kelley released a statement Sunday acknowledging her friendship with Petraeus and asking for privacy.
