Great Recession Brings Hope To FL Economy

Tallahassee, FL – The state of Florida has finally reached it’s precession numbers when it comes to jobs. Statewide employment has topped 8.75 million, but these are not the same exact jobs that were lost during the Great Recession.

So what is different?

Florida’s manufacturing and construction industries seem to be fading. We are now seeing more people clustered into lower paying jobs and most of them are part-time. Even some people are piecing together two part-time jobs to get a full-time paycheck.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, industries like fast food, retail, tourism and health care are seeing this boom.
