Gov. Rick Scott will be in St. Petersburg today for a job announcement.
He’s expected to release the name of a large biotech firm that will bring almost 300 jobs during the next six years to St. Pete. Salaries at the firm will average about $120,000 a year and the building will be located in an area called the Dome Industrial Park, northwest of Interstate 275.
There is no word yet on the company name or the type of jobs that will be available.
