SHADY HILLS, Fla. (AP) — One Florida middle school has been named the winner of a video contest that will bring in nearly $80,000 in technology supplies.
The St. Petersburg Times reports that Crews Lake Middle School in Shady Hills won eInstruction’s grand prize.
Students at the school worked together to film and edit their entry for the “Interactive Classroom Makeover Contest.” Texas-based eInstruction specializes in technology like white boards and hand-held test clickers.
The school has offered digital design and animation classes since it opened. Now it will be able to add hand-held test responders, new computers, animation and math instruction software to its list of supplies.
