Fire Rescue Saves Kitten Inside Wall

A City of Tampa Parking security officer was patrolling the Twiggs St. Garage, which is located at 901 E. Twiggs St. when a customer alerted him an issue on the 2nd floor.

The customer stated that they could hear a cat crying in the area but was unable to locate it. Parking staff located a small kitten stuck in between the wall of the garage crying for help, and called Tampa Fire Rescue.

Tampa Fire Rescue Engine 1 responded, and they were able to get the kitten out without any issues. He was placed in a box. Hillsborough County Animal Services responded and took possession of the kitten.
