SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — Authorities in southwest Florida are working to identify a body found floating off Anna Maria Island.
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune (http://bit.ly/uuWSdH ) reports that the boaters found the body Saturday afternoon between the island and the Sunshine Skyway bridge.
Manatee County Sheriff’s Office investigators say there were no signs of foul play. They’ll use fingerprinting Monday to identify the dead man.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
