Flags at Half-Staff for Daniel M. Ferguson

From the Governor of Florida Rick Scott:

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Sergeant First Class Daniel M. Ferguson. Sergeant Ferguson lost his life on April 2, 2014, while actively trying to protect others from harm during a shooting at Fort Hood, Texas. More lives would have been lost if not for his heroic action.

In honor of Sergeant First Class Daniel M. Ferguson, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at the County Courthouse of Polk County, Florida, at the City Hall of Mulberry, Florida, and the State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, April 12, 2014.
