The number of manatees that died in Florida waters during 2015 is slightly up from a year ago.
The Florida Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says 388 manatee died statewide.
30 of those sea cow deaths were in Tampa Bay waters.
Last year, 371 manatees died in Sunshine State waters.
Neither number is anywhere near 2013, when a record 830 manatees died.
Manatee deaths are largely due to cold weather, red tide algae blooms, and boat strikes.
There are 48 hundred manatees in Florida.
