Fire Rescue To Canvas Mobile Home Park

The Hillsborough County Fire Rescue will canvas the Wolf’s Mobile Home Park in Ruskin this morning to ensure that each home there, has a working smoke alarm.

Occupants of the homes of Wolf’s Mobile Home Park that do not have a smoke alarm will have the option of allowing Hillsborough County Fire Rescue personnel to install operational smoke alarms in their home at no cost. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue has installed more than 540 smoke alarms in homes and mobile parks since last year, and continue this year to identify homes and mobile home parks that need smoke alarms.

Working smoke alarms double a family’s chance of surviving a home fire. If you live in Hillsborough County, and do not currently have a smoke alarm, you can have one installed at no cost.
