FEMA Snubs Pasco Flood Victims

It appears Pasco County flood victims and others affected by record rains in the Bay Area will not be getting relief from Uncle Sam after all.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has denied Governor Rick Scott’s request for financial help to homeowners and businesses, despite Scott’s emergency declaration.

The state and counties are helping flood victims, but federal money would have been much more substantial.

State and county officials are vowing to keep fighting for disaster relief.
