A man was found dead in a burning house early Monday.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. at a home on the 5700 block of Horton Road near State Road 60. Firefighters said the blaze caused at least half of the home’s roof to collapse.
Once the flames were under control, firefighters went inside the house.
That’s where they found the body. The man has not yet been identified.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fire. An investigation is ongoing.
