As doctors work to save the life of the first Ebola patient diagnosed within the United States, the family of Thomas Eric Duncan has met with the Rev. Jesse Jackson, who said he traveled to Dallas on Tuesday at the family’s request to “seek the best humanitarian relief America has to offer.”

Meanwhile, Clay Jenkins, the highest-ranking official in Dallas County, has raised a few eyebrows. He personally helped to move Duncan’s fiancée and her children to an undisclosed location without wearing protective gear.
