TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Officials say a Tampa firefighter was injured while fighting a fire.
The fire broke out early Friday in Tampa
Tampa Fire Rescue units were dispatched at 3:43 am to a report of a structure fire located at 4713 Hesperides.
Fire crews quickly contained the fire to the one structure.
Tampa Fire Rescue crews are on scene as a third alarm.
One minor injury has been sustained to Tampa Fire Rescue personnel, who has been transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
Tampa Fire Rescue officials say the injury was minor, but the firefighter has been taken to a hospital for evaluation.
