Unidentified drones flew over the Eiffel Tower and other key Paris landmarks for a second night in a row, baffling French authorities who are investigating the mysterious phenomenon at a time of high security across the country. Police spotted one or more drones in five instances buzzing in the Paris sky during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday — from 11.30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

An inquiry has been launched into earlier drone sightings Monday night. Some of the latest drone flights have been captured on film and will be analyzed by a 10-strong team of investigators set up after the first incidents.
