Insurance giant A.I.G. has suddenly closed all 14 of its financial network offices in Florida.
That includes several here in Tampa Bay.
The closings mean layoffs.
The company isn’t saying how many across the state, but dozens have gotten pink slips in the bay area alone.
The company says those workers will get severance packages.
The closings are part of a streamlining and re-alignment of the company.
