Mehmet Oz is visiting Tampa today.
The “Dr. Oz Show” airs weekdays on News Channel 8 and he’ll be giving people a “15 Minute Physical.”
The screenings will be held at Florida Hospital Pepin Heart Institute.
All 1,000-plus slots already have been filled, and a line already was forming early this morning.
An estimated 1,000 pre-registered participants will have a check up of their cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure and waist-measurement screenings.
They’ll analyze the results for averages, trends and other significant data points for the group and put together a “report card” on Tampa’s health.
Most participants will have a brief consultation with volunteer medical staff. A few giveaway winners and select cases will get to spend some time with Oz.
