St. Petersburg Police are reaching out to the public for help in locating a wanted suspect in connection with a January 2014 daytime burglary which occurred in the 5100 block of 18th Street North. Police believe he made entry to the home by prying open a back door and taking computers, gaming consoles and other electronics.
They’re looking for Corey Andre Cox, described as a black male, 24 years old, 5’9″, 145 lbs, last known address of 1316 Melrose Avenue South, St. Petersburg. The picture above is a 2012 booking photo of Cox.
Detectives believe that Cox may be responsible for a series of similar burglaries throughout the northern section of the City since that time. They are asking anyone with knowledge of Cox’s whereabouts to contact the St. Petersburg Police Department at 893-7780. A cash reward is available for information leading to his arrest.
