Decent Chance for Rain All Week

Rain chances will go to 60% this afternoon with the daytime heating and SE winds. A cold front is approaching the area by midweek and when it combines with a trough along the east coast, it will keep us unsettled through the work week.

Temperatures will run near the normal of 89, but will be a degree or two cooler through Wednesday as rain chances will be highest. Winds will start out of the southeast today then turn to the southwest tomorrow and Wednesday. They will increase ahead of an approaching cold front creating rough conditions for boaters and even a high rip current risk along the beaches.

Today: Partly sunny with scattered storms this afternoon 50%. Winds will start ESE then turn SE 10-15 mph this afternoon. Highs will run in the upper 80s.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with an isolated shower 20%, mainly along the coast. WInds SE 5 mph and lows in the mid 70s.

Marine Forecast: Winds SE 15 kts, seas 2-3. There will be a moderate chop on the bay. Storms along the coast this morning will move inland over the bay this afternoon.
