Tropical Storm Danny continues to trundle toward the west at 12 mph according to the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Maximum sustained winds currently top out at 50 mph. The NOAA predicts Danny will strengthen and reach hurricane status by Friday morning. Current storm track would put Danny on a collision course with Puerto Rico and Hispanola.
