Crimestoppers Tip Leads To Three Arrests




Thursday at approximately 6:00 p.m. deputies responded to 13203 Lincoln Road in Riverview in reference to a Crimestoppers tip. The tip indicated that the resident was in possession of a firearm and selling marijuana from the house. Eric Jordan, 31, who is currently on felony probation, has a curfew between the hours of 6:00 pm and 6:00 am. A search of the residence revealed Johnson was not home between the listed hours and in violation of his probation. While deputies were searching the residence for Jordan, they observed marijuana packed for sale in plain view.

Deputies saw Jordan enter the area and attempt to elude law enforcement, at which time he was taken into custody. A search of the residence yielded the following; approximately one pound of marijuana packaged for sale, 1.3 grams of methamphetamine, a loaded .45 Taurus semi-automatic handgun and numerous amounts of drug paraphernalia. Eric Jordan was charged with Possession of Marijuana w/intent to Sell, Felon in Possession Firearm, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (3 counts), Unlawful Use of Two way communications device, Keeping Public Nuisance Structure for Drug, Felon in Possession of Firearm and VOP.

While on scene, Brittani Dwyer, 22, and Brittany Jordan, 25, arrived and were found to be in possession of approximately 8 grams of methamphetamine and 23 grams of marijuana, which was packaged for individual sale. Brittani Dwyer was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance w/Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana w/Intent to Sell, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving w/license canc, susp, or revoked. Brittany Jordan was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance w/Intent to Sell and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Orient Road Jail.
