On April 15, 2014, at about 11:45am, 49 year-old Hassan Boukil of St. Petersburg was arrested at his business, located at 3401 5th Avenue North, when officers acting on a tip found him possession of 74 grams of SPICE. Various packets labeled “Johnny Appleseed”, “Bob Marley”, “Diablo” and “AK-47” were discovered in his possession.
According to multiple store employees, Boukil sold SPICE to convenience store customers and forced them to sell it as well.
Boukil was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell and was booked on a $10,000 bond.
