Controversial Immigrant Policy: Catch And Release

The U.S. Border Patrol blames a staffing shortage for a decision to fly hundreds of undocumented immigrants from South Texas to Tucson, where they are released at Greyhound stations in Tucson and Phoenix. Border-security advocates are concerned that the immigrants will now disappear into the surrounding neighborhoods, while human rights activists are furious that the migrants were dropped off without food or water and left to fend for themselves. This week, more than 200 people were dropped off at Arizona bus stations.
