Consumer Reports Annual Auto Rankings Puts Lexus At Top

Consumer Reports released its annual auto brand ratings, which rank the best … and worst auto brands. Lexus ranked at the top of the, being named the best overall brand, while Fiat landed as the bottom. To reach its conclusion, CR combines road-test and reliability scores for 28 brands for which they had enough data.

Buick, made by General Motors, placed seventh in the brand rankings. But the brand rankings and top picks still were dominated by Japanese and German manufacturers, with Lexus, Mazda, Toyota, Audi and Subaru taking the top five brand spots.
