Congressman Kucinich Demands Food Labeling In Fiery House Speech

While Food Nation Radio Network has seen what can best be described as reticence from most members of Congress on labeling genetically modified food, one gentleman stands out from the pack. Congressman Kucinich has become more and more outspoken in recent months about the issue, demanding his fellow members consider the potential impact of planting hundreds of millions of acres of GMOs without adequate testing.

In this election cycle, GMOs have been swept under the rug, with not only President Obama but also Candidate Mitt Romney ignoring and dodging questions about labeling of these controversial foods. Kucinich believes it points back to the money and influence of companies such as Monsanto in Washington, calling for finance reforms to protect the American people from the same company that brought us PCBs.

You can hear our compelling interview with him here:

Dennis Kucinich’s wife, Elizabeth is involved in a movie project about GMOs currently titled as GMO OMG expected to be released in the near future.
