A Clearwater woman was stabbed multipal times in the upper body this morning, just after 3 a.m., in the block of S. Glenwood Avenue.
Two people were passing by at the time of the stabbing and stopped to intervene, according to officials. That is when the suspect ran off. They say it appears to be a domestic situation.
The victim was flown to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her condition has not been released.
The investigation is ongoing and a suspect is being sought, but they have strong leads about the whereabouts of the suspect.
