Clearwater Native Finishes Second in “The Voice”

Clearwater native Juliet Simms didn’t win the $100,000 and a recording contract, but she was close.

Jermaine Paul, the former Alicia Keys background singer, got enough votes to becomes “The Voice”.

Simms came in second place on the hit NBC singing competition and only 4 percentage points separated them.

Paul held his wife as he sang R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly,” the song he performed on Monday’s show.
