ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ A secretary at a Polk County Christian school faces charges of having sex with an underage student.
The Orlando Sentinel (thesent.nl/VIZALb) reports that 41-year-old Trina Rocker was charged this week with five counts of unlawful sex with a minor after allegedly having multiple sexual encounters with a 17-year-old student at Landmark Christian School.
Authorities say the incidents began in November and occurred in her car, home and during a class trip to Washington, D.C. The teen graduated in May.
The teen’s parents reported it to the sheriff’s office and participated in a controlled phone call, listened to by authorities, in which Rocker asked them not to report it.
According to an arrest report, detectives also have text messages between Rocker and the teen that reference sex.
