Drivers on Interstate 275 in South St. Petersburg got a shock this morning.
They saw a child riding a tricycle right down the middle of the busy highway.
Several quick thinking drivers used their cars to box the child in until they got to the southbound toll plaza, where plaza workers ran out to grab the boy.
The boy apparently has some kind of disability and had left his home without his parents knowing.
He is back home now.
