(UPDATE 4:15 p.m.) Police now say the 11 year old shot the 9 year old after the two broke into a locked cabinet where the gun was kept.

Authorities are at a Turkey Tree Lane home in Plant City where a child has apparently been shot.
They say the 9 year old and his 11 year old brother found the .45 caliber handgun in the house.
The gun apparently went off as the boys played with it.
The boy was shot in the face.
He is in serious condition but expected to survive.
