Farnell Middle School student Leonard Pineda was hit and killed by an SUV as he ran to catch his bus this morning.
It happened when the 12 year old ran into the path of the vehicle in the parking lot of the Preserve at Mobbly Bay Apartments off Hillsborough Avenue.
The investigation continues.
